We are a group of developers who started as members of a project and we are composed of Y19 and Y20 students in the Civil Engineering Department of IIT Kanpur while we were attempting to learn software development and explore Geoinformatics and to apply the same into building web applications. The project has more than 50 members now who are already working in teams of 3-5 for various startups, and in terms of technology, the members of the project know the following as of 9th February, 2022:
- HTML
- CSS
- Git and Github
- Javascript and its frameworks
- Node
- Frontend Development
- React
and we are in process to learn the following technologies:
- Python
- Backend Development
- Django
As all the students are of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur, we would also be learning the following concepts of Geoinformatics:
- Introduction to Geoinformatics
- Geographic Information Systems
- Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry
- Navigation, Location and Positioning using satellites
After which we would be applying the same into building applications in, but not limited to the domain.
