wolkenkit-vagrant

wolkenkit-vagrant provides a Vagrantfile to setup wolkenkit VMs.

What is wolkenkit?

wolkenkit is a CQRS and event-sourcing framework for JavaScript and Node.js. wolkenkit uses an event-driven model based on DDD to setup an API for your business in no time. This way, wolkenkit bridges the language gap between your domain and technology.

Installation

To run a wolkenkit VM, you need to install Vagrant, version 2.0.4 or above.

If you use VirtualBox as virtualization engine, please make sure to also install the vagrant-vbguest plugin. This ensures that the guest additions in the VM will match your version of VirtualBox:

$ vagrant plugin install vagrant-vbguest

Quick start

To run a wolkenkit VM, use the following command:

$ vagrant up

To enter the VM, run:

$ vagrant ssh

Now, you can use the wolkenkit CLI as usual.

Please note that Vagrant mounts your current directory from the host as /vagrant inside the VM. Any files you store in this directory will be synchronized between the VM and your host.

Stopping the VM

To stop the VM, run:

$ vagrant halt

Deleting the VM

If you don't need the VM any more and would like to delete it, use:

$ vagrant destroy
