Hey Crew,

Keen to bring this small incremental update to you. Main new feature is that you can now select from any of your first three displays, this is especially helpful for those of ya'll who use stage display. For those of you who are on that Pro Pres hype train, something is in the works so stay tuned. The Colouren binary below is complied for 64-bit so if you're still part of the 32-bit gang either use the last release or compile yourself.

Cheers, Thomas

Hi All,

I realised that there was a small bug in the way that Colouren handled the saving of new preferences on Windows which had the potential to cause a crash on future startups of the program. This release resolves this issue. If you continue to have issues after updating then try deleting the configuration file in your home directory.

Attached also is the input profile for QLC+. To use it place 'ThomasP-Colouren.qxi' into your user directory in the 'InputProfiles' folder.

Thanks, Thomas

Hi All,

This is the second release of Colouren. A changelog is below...

  • Can now calculate dominant colour as well as average colour

You may need to delete your config file if you had the old version installed. Just delete the folder named 'colouren' in your home directory.

Thanks, Thomas

Hi All,

This is the initial release of Colouren. For the time being it only works on Windows with 1-2 monitors and only sends data over OSC. Future releases may include more features and options such as linux support, dominant colour or average colour, multi-monitor support, ArtNet support, etc.

Thanks, Thomas
