Configuring Typo offline mode

Before you start offline browsing you must change your server address in public/offline/typosphere.html file on line 2

<html lang="en" manifest="http://localhost:3000/manifest">

where http://localhost:3000 is your server address.

That’s all. Very easy :-)

Offline browsing

Offline browsing is compatible only with Safari 4+ (because only Safari 4+ supports offline storage). It is based on HTML5 offline storage, you can find more info on www.w3.org site.

To start offline browsing simply visit http://your-server-address/offline/typosphere.html. When you visit this address for the first time you will be prompt to sync online and offline databases. After syncing process you can browse your blog even when you are not connected.
