LightDays is a easy-use, gorgeous, light-weight countdown like app for UWP. You can set the events and see how many days left or how many days have gone.

All libraries used in LightDays have been included, so it's really easy to build. The only thing you need to pay attention to is make sure that the NuGet Package is restored.
Right click solution -> Click "Build Solution"
Then, you can just run it on your local machine.
