Lingua-CU version 0.04

Lingua::CU is a Perl module for working with Church Slavonic text.
It provides the following features:

* Resolve Church Slavonic abbreviations and _nomina sacra_
* Convert between Cyrillic numerals and ASCII digits
* Convert Church Slavonic text to Russian characters (not yet supported)
* Romanize (transliterate to Latin) Church Slavonic text (not yet supported)
* Convert between Cyrillic and Glagolitic text (not yet supported)
* Convert between Unicode and legacy UCS and HIP encodings
* Sort Church Slavonic words using a tailoring of the DUCET
* Perform stemming of Church Slavonic words (not yet supported)
* Perform hyphenation of Church Slavonic words (work in progress)

INSTALLATION

To install this module type the following:

   perl Makefile.PL
   make
   make test
   make install

DEPENDENCIES

This program requires Unicode support (Perl 5.8.1 or higher for sure)
Unicode::Collate version 1.04 or newer is required (DUCET version 6.3.0)
