Memory intermittently lost when switching between Parent and Child Maps #18

Summary

At times, when a parent map is loaded, then a child map is loaded afterward, the tool will either lose memory or its place in the logic and take no action. The loaded parent map is cleared and the child map is not loaded.

After this, the tool does not work and the user needs to refresh the page.

4.5.0 (Current)

Expected Behavior

Open parent map, then open child map and both are opened, respectively.

Actual Behavior

The tool intermittently loses memory or place in logic and is unusable.

Steps to Reproduce the Actual Behavior

  1. Open a parent map.
  2. Open a child map.
  3. Tool loses functionality.
