WSO2 Dashboard Server Beta Released!

WSO2 Dashboard Server 2.1.0-Beta Released!

WSO2 Dashboard Server team is pleased to announce the release of WSO2 Dashboard Server 2.1.0 Beta. This release comes with the following bug fixes and improvements. You can view the documentation at [1].

Bug

[UES-976] - Doesn't let you change the page in development mode
[UES-1030] - Settings should not be a global-level permission
[UES-1034] - When we add a new store for portal.json and if the relevant files for that particular store does not exist, gadgets list is not generated
[UES-1037] - View configurations appear in gadget configurations side bar
[UES-1038] - When a user tries to access a page which does not have a permitted view for that particular user through the URL 401 should be thrown
[UES-1040] - [UI] Generate PDF - Download the View does not show as clickable
[UES-1041] - [UI] Dashboard color changes when restored after maximizing
[UES-1042] - In view mode, when doing the editing as a viewer, deleted gadget is not restored even after clicking restore.
[UES-1048] - Download PDF collapsible icon directions doesn't change when expanding
[UES-1049] - When a dashboard is created in a tenant with anonymous views and if the other tenant user tries to access it through url it shows the views by checking roles
[UES-1050] - Error thrown when server started with DS_DATASOURCE for MSSQL
[UES-1051] - Cannot create tenants when LDAP is used as User Store: fails with an error
[UES-1052] - Cannot save custom view name
[UES-1053] - Open in new tab option for "View Dashboard" is redirected incorrectly
[UES-1055] - [UI] Disable Save button after saving changes.
[UES-1056] - [UI] Cannot go back to home page by cancelling the dashboard settings page through clicking "Cancel" button
[UES-1057] - Tenant user who is not super admin (portal admin of tenant) cannot view shared dashboards
[UES-1058] - Cannot maximize gadgets in other views than default view
[UES-1059] - Tenant cannot delete a shared dashboard in tenant space
[UES-1060] - [UI] Typo errors in Role deletion error message when only one role exists
[UES-1063] - [Intermittent] Dasboard server became unusable after a while. Errors thrown in backend
[UES-1064] - Rest of the gadgets are not loading when scroll down in designer gadget list
[UES-1068] - [INTERMITTENT] A WARN observed when creating Dashboards
[UES-1072] - Tables are not getting created when started with -Dsetup
[UES-1073] - [ORACLE] When creating DB tables in Oracle an error is thrown.
[UES-1074] - Left hand Pane is shrinked
[UES-1079] - 404 when downloading a layout
[UES-1083] - [FireFox] Right panel in flickering When setting a page as the landing page
[UES-1090] - [Intermittent] All the pages are not shown in Menu page
[UES-1091] - Faulty behavior when disabling visibility of hierarchical pages.
[UES-1103] - The footer overlaps the page list when there are many pages.
[UES-1111] - When trying to create a dashboard with an already existing url the user is not notified
[UES-1116] - The drop-down overlaps the footer when there are many minimized views
[UES-1126] - [IE 11] Cannot Download Dashboard view as a PDF

Improvement

[UES-1013] - Keep the record of the which gadgets are used where and when the user tries to delete the gadget give warning
[UES-1070] - Acesing Non existing Dashboards should give a 404 Error
[UES-1106] - Maximize option is not there when the title of the gadget is hiddden
