API platform for Kubernetes (APK) product offers a comprehensive solution for deploying and managing APIs in a Kubernetes environment. Our product releases come in the form of Helm charts, which provide an easy way to install the necessary components in a Kubernetes cluster. Additionally, we have already tagged and released the required Docker images to the Docker registry, streamlining the installation process. With APK, you can quickly and securely deploy your APIs in Kubernetes, making it easier to manage your API infrastructure and streamline your development workflows.

WSO2 APIM APK Agent is a component in APK that enables seamless integration with the API Manager Control Plane.

Support for Gateway API supported filters for HTTPRoutes

The APK Gateway now supports new key filters aligned with Kubernetes Gateway API standards, enhancing traffic management and control. This update provides more flexibility and precision in routing and transforming HTTP traffic, resulting in efficient traffic management, and a better experience for developers.
Newly Supported Features:

  • URL Rewriting: Modify URLs in incoming requests for dynamic routing.
  • Request Mirroring: Duplicate and send requests to multiple endpoints for testing and analysis.
  • Request Redirection: Redirect incoming requests to different locations.
  • Add, remove, or modify HTTP headers to control request and response flows.
  • Extend functionality with custom filters for specific needs.
