Change issue status with a single click.

Automatically change the assignee based on the issue’s status.
Before assignee can automatically be changed based on the issue’s status, these steps should be taken:

Create a Custom Field as an Issues object and select User as the format and name it what you’d like. e.g. “desiger”, “tester”, etc.

Go to the Status Button plugin settings and use the dropdown to select the custom field you just made in step 1.

When creating or editing an issue, select your wanted value in your new custom field. This will allow the assignee to be changed automatically based on the status you mapped it to in step 2.
Note: save the plugin settings at least one time after installing the plugin. If not, you may get a 500 Internal Server error when creating an issue or changing the status of an existing one.
