prefab-spring-boot

A scaffold code for the java spring boot service

Fetch from Github

> mkdir $HOME/service
> cd service
> git clone https://github.com/yantrashala/prefab-spring-boot.git
> cd prefab-spring-boot

Docker Build (suggested)

> cd prefab-spring-boot
> docker build -t ps/prefab-spring-boot:latest .

Run Docker Image

There are two port 8080 (service) and 8081 (monitoring)

> docker run --rm -p8080:8080 -p8081:8081 -it  ps/prefab-spring-boot

Service Endpoints

> Swagger UI Endpoint -> localhost:8080/swagger-ui.html
> Greeting Service Endpoint -> localhost:8080/greet?name=User

Monitoring Endpoints

> Info Endpoint -> localhost:8081/monitor/info
> Heath Endpoint -> localhost:8081/monitor/health
> Metrics Endpoint -> localhost:8081/monitor/metrics

> Business Metric for Greeting --> localhost:8081/monitor/metrics/greeting
