The following are preliminary answers to frequently asked questions about using ytdl-core.

Please: If you do not find the answer you expect here, please do not create an issue, but first check the examples folder for an example implementation.

1. What is “All player APIs responded with an error. (Clients: ...)”?

This error indicates that all APIs used to retrieve information from YouTube returned errors. This error may or may not allow you to continue. Each depends on what type of error the API is returning.

Solution

The solution may not work for private videos, etc. In other cases, the following methods may work.

1. Specify PoToken and VisitorData (Get them again)
2. Use OAuth2
3. Change the geographic location in which it operates
4. Use a proxy (deprecated)

2. Do we need to get a new value for PoToken or VisitorData every time?

No, not needed. We are not sure how long PoToken is valid, but it works fine for multiple requests, so we recommend changing it if you start getting errors.

3. How can OAuth2 client ID and client secret be generated?
