The latest Residential rate plan pricing options went live on September 1, 2024 with plans that differ in peak time pricing and tiered usage. Calculations will assume the Tiered Rate Plan (E-1) option is used while remaining below the standard baseline usage because that's easiest to think about:

This number helps put computing costs into financial term. The 12 second sleep example from the README.md used 922.63 joules which is 0.000256 kWh or $0.00009992 - almost 1/100 of a cent.
