What is the issue with the version shipped by Ubuntu? That is... vtk-9.1, right? Maybe other Linux distributions have similar issues. Should we document that we do not support given VTK versions? |

The ubuntu package is built with libexpat1-dev 2.6.1 that was released after vtk 9.1 and that is not compatible. libexpat1-dev 2.5 for example should be used. |

it seems itk depends on vtk... Then it becomes incompatible with the version manually installed (system vtk is hard coded in itk cmake config files). |
