How to Add RMS_TOOLSUITE in Custom Maps

Download the package for mappers and extract its content.

Open your UE project and in your content browser right click on your ‘CustomMaps’ folder, then select ‘show in explorer’

Copy / Paste the ’RMS’ folder extracted earlier

In UE go to the new ‘RMS’ folder, then in ‘RMS_Toolsuite’ and drag the ‘RMS_Toolsuite’ bp actor in your scene.

Once in your scene, select it and change the ‘custom map name’ variable.
You can put any name you want, but normally use the name of the map because this is the name that will be used for the NPCs save file.

Cook your map, then copy the cooked folder in your session custom Maps folder, but don’t copy the RMS folder!
WARNING!!
If you are using the SMM project watcher, the toolsuite mod will be erased/replaced during the cooking and you’ll not be able to test it.
Don’t use it, or uninstall / re-install the toolsuite mod after cooking.

When packaging your map for illusory, don’t include the RMS folder !
