Since androids have no need to speak human language in order to communicate to other robots or even humans, there are new ways to explore robot-human interaction which allow humans to be part of the loop, without reducing communications efficiency.

R2D2: A light matrix can be used to show activations of lower level to higher-level mind functions. This gives the proper feedback for humans to assess the level of understanding with which a droid is communicating.
