Setting up Flickr
Warning: This connector is UNSTABLE and may not work. The following steps will get your photos into your Photos collection most likely, but your milage may vary.
Go to your Locker's Connectors page https://skitch.com/nymbot/fqr6f/locker-dashboard
Click on "Show Unstable" in right hand corner
Find "Flickr Account" and click on it.
Click "Install" button in right hand corner.
Copy the callback URI
Click on "here" to go to Flickr.com to set up your Flickr Developer App. This will open a new window.
When the page loads, click "APPLY FOR A NON-COMMERCIAL KEY"
Fill out the form.
Suggestions:
What's the name of your app? : "My Locker" Describe it: "http://lockerproject.org/"
Check off the marks and click submit
This page looks like what we want, but we haven't pasted our callback URI yet! Click "Edit app details" first!
Click "Edit"
Success!
Well, almost there...
Scroll down and click on "View"
Copy the API Key
And paste it on the original Locker Dashboard window:
Then copy the API Secret from the Flickr window and paste in the Locker Dashboard window.
Click submit
Expand the connector (iframe bug workaround)
Click "auth w/ flickr":
Click "OK, AUTHORIZE APP" button
Go to the following URL:
http://localhost:8042/#!/app/flickr
You will be taken to this page:
Click "photos", and wait for it to load.
Go to http://localhost:8042/Me/photos/update to get the photo collection to load (workaround)
Your photos should be in your locker now from Flickr. Go to an app like Hello Photos to see em!
