Running Measurements

With all the measurements you want to run added to the queue, and all the device parameters correctly entered in the panel on the left, simply press "Start" like so:

This will cause FetCh to run through each measurement in the queue sequentially. During a measurement, the queue may look something like this:

Measurements/actions that complete successfully will have a green tick next to them. Those that encounter an error will have a red exclamation mark next to them. The currently running measurement/action will have a yellow hourglass next to it. Any measurement yet to run will have three grey dots next to it.

If the currently running action has data to show, it will be plotted live on the right-hand side. For example, during our conductivity measurement:

Overall the Measurement page will look like this while measuring:

You can stop a measurement at any time by pressing "Stop" like so:

This will cause whichever measurement is currently running to stop at the next available break-point and return all instruments to a safe state. After that has happened, you will see the following message:

The measurement that was running when the stop button was pressed will now display with a purple cross next to it and say that it was "interrupted" like so:
