IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT update to this release if you are on macOS Catalina or macOS Big Sur. This release removes support for those two OS versions. Support will be added to the legacy branch soon.

This new configuration release contains many new additions, basically too many to count. All the major changes will be listed below, although, some may be missed. Because of the changes made in this build, it is recommended to update if you are on 0.8.9 or older.

Changes to the configuration (config.plist, etc) include:

  • Add Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth support (included in commit d05bf22)
  • Remove Catalina and Big Sur support (required due to addition of WiFi/Bluetooth)
  • Fix many spelling mistakes (included in commit d05bf22)
  • Debloat AppleALC (included in commit d05bf22)

Versions of everything updated, check their respective repositories for their changelog:
OpenCore 0.8.9 -> 0.9.0
AppleALC 1.7.9 -> 1.8.0
Lilu 1.6.3 -> 1.6.4
VirtualSMC 1.3.0 -> 1.3.1
