IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT update to this release or 0.9.0 if you are on macOS Catalina or macOS Big Sur. 0.9.0 removed support for those two OS versions. Support will be added to the legacy branch soon.

This new configuration release mainly just contains updated kexts, along with text changes in the README and other documentation locations. Because there are not many changes, it is fine to stay on 0.9.0, but recommended to update from 0.8.9 or below.

Changes to the configuration (config.plist, etc) include:

  • Nothing.

Versions of everything updated, check their respective repositories for their changelog:
OpenCore 0.9.0 -> 0.9.1
AppleALC 1.8.0 -> 1.8.1
BrcmPatchRAM 2.6.4 -> 2.6.5 (contains multiple kexts)
