D2: Project Description (Part #2) Custom Testing

Introduction

For the part 2, it is crucial for generating the state space, as well as verifying the logic. Therefore, some customized testing has to be done. The testing described below will take about 2 to 4 hours to complete (for 3 tests, as the minimum requirement). We need as many tests as possible, so all of us should do it to leverage the risks of being biased.

Deadline

The deadline for this task is Mar 8th, Thursday 23:00 as we need time to fix if there are some bugs.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Read the Project Description 2 CAREFULLY.
2. Examine the code related to the state space generation (state_space_generation.py).
3. Make a customized input file (Please do NOT use the test files given by Chien).
4. Find all possible moves and write down it on a paper.
5. Follow the instruction (instruction_for_state_space_generator) to generate the state space by the program.
6. Compare the program-generated file to the result on the paper.
7. If there are some problems, make a bug report.
8. Repeat 1 to 7 as much as possible (at least 3 times)

Final Deliverables

1. All test input files (at least 3).
2. All test output files from the input files.
3. Bug reports if applicable. => Zip-up all files, and send it to jchoi179@my.bcit.ca
