What it does

mise-en-place (https://mise.jdx.dev/) is a polyglot tool version manager which easily install various JDKs in the user's home directory in a fixed place

How to test

  1. Install mise
  2. mise install java@temurin-22
  3. Open the preference page, and check if the new JVM is detected

Would you please rebase on master ? It's a bit hectic lately and we fail finding time even for such reviews.

Thanks for the patch. It should be available in the next I-build. If you would like to provide New&Noteworthy for this change please provide a PR to https://github.com/eclipse-platform/www.eclipse.org-eclipse/blob/master/news/4.34/jdt.html .
