On 2014-05-07 I realized that the DEV mirror somehow was broken. I always had following error:

error: Fetch failed.
I took this opportunity to improve my mirror2git scripts, in future such type of errors should be reported via cron.
After being able to reproduce a similar error on another machine, the error suddenly vanished while I tried to find a workaround. AFAICS either my testing flushed some cache which made the error disappear, or this summoned the admin on the other side who then fixed it. Thanks, anyway ;)
