Additions:

  • Added shell kill combo sfx
  • Added a scrollbar for open lobbies on the Main Menu
  • Added a message for room hosts reminding them of chat commands
  • Added /mute and /ban

Adjustments:

  • Fireballs now despawn after traveling for 10 seconds
  • Further mproved netcode / lag compensation / bandiwdth usage
  • Players inside a Blue shell no longer normal bounce on players
  • Ice Flower no longer freezes players in a Blue Shell
  • Reduced time taken for summoned powerups to fall from 1.5s to 1s
  • Changed shell kick sfx to be closer to the original game
  • Changed screenshake to be universal, instead of client-side
  • Changed groundpound canceling to be closer to the original game

Fixes:

  • Fixed getting stuck in blocks. For good, hopefully
  • Fixed player animations sometimes being incorrect (running backwards, etc)
  • Fixed some powerups sitting a pixel above the ground
  • Fixed glows not working on Big players / in front of backgrounds
  • Fixed special formatting tags being usable in text chat
  • Fixed a crash relating to lobby chat
  • Fixed looping background seams being overlapped by 1 pixel
  • Fixed groundpounding frozen players being inconsistent
  • Fixed groundpounding onto a pipe always entering the pipe.
  • Fixed broken animation when picking up an Ice Block & shooting fireball [//TEST]
  • Fixed model flash not disabling when game ends, making players invisible [//TEST]
  • Fixed long usernames wrapping around the level on non-looping levels, ex: Pipes
  • Fixed Starman Players not being able to damage others while they have invincibility frames
  • Fixed entering a pipe and being killed at the same time breaking the death animation
  • Fixed Mini Players not being able to un-crouch in small areas
  • Fixed Mini Players being crushed when collecting a powerup in small areas
  • Fixed Mini Mushrooms having higher reserve item box priority
  • Fixed Mega Players being knockback-able via block bumping while growing/shrinking
  • Fixed groundpound sitting with a Blue Shell incorrectly using the idle animation
  • Fixed level inaccuracies / missing Big Star spawns in Bricks, Pipes, and Ice
  • Fixed Fortress' ceiling framerate being dependent on the host's ping
  • Fixed Blue Shell softlock in Volcano
  • Fixed WIP-map related bugs
