Add Address

Select the Create AIMS Feature tool and click on the map where you want the address point added.
The Edit Feature tab will display.

Enter the new address number either into the Number Splitter field or into each of the separate number fields.

Select the Select RCL Id tool and click on the road segment you want to link the address to.

The Position Type will default to "unknown". To edit the Position Type to match the location you are placing the address select the expand button next to Addressable Object. Expand the drop down box by selecting the down arrow and select the required position type.

Select Submit.

You can add additional information displayed in the Edit Feature tab if it has been provided by the TA.

###Water Addresses If the address is to be added to a water route (e.g. beach or island), select Water from the drop down next to Number Splitter, and when selecting an RCL Id click on the water route. Enter a locality into the Water Name field (does not have to be accurate, will be overwritten).
