Getting Started: Projects

Unlike other GUI's designed for interfacing with AI, enhancr utilizes a project-based approach for organizing and managing various tasks.

Project files, with the extension '.enhncr', are necessary in enhancr and cannot be avoided. While one project file is often sufficient for completing quick tasks, they are used to save the state of your workspace, including FFmpeg commands, input files and output locations. This allows you to easily resume work on a project at a later time.

Creating a new project in enhancr is straightforward. Simply launch the program and click the "Create a new enhancr project" button. Your operating system will then prompt you to select a save directory and name for the project.

Project files can be opened from the launch screen or within the enhancr UI by clicking on the folder icon at the top of the window.
