The board receiver RF signals from the Remote Controller, and prepares packets for Flight Controller based on them. Compared to first Phantom, the receiver has been switched to double channel. This increased reliability of the radio link.
The receiver used should work on a different frequency band than FPV transmission.
There are multiple versions of the board.
