<SPLIT> and <SPLITINLINE> tags are used to highlight the differences between the original scheme version and Javascript adaption of the textbook.

  • <SPLIT>: When drastic changes have been made a rather large section.

As a result, the two version of the textbook will be displayed side-by-side in different colours in the split version

  • <SPLITINLINE>: When the changes are small e.g. one word / one phrase

As a result, the differences will be displayed within the same line separated by a "/" in different colours in the split version

    • Please use <SPLITINLINE> for <FOOTNOTE>!!
  • <SPLIT> and <SPLITINLINE> should contain <SCHEME> or <JAVASCRIPT> as child tags, which contain content from the two versions of the textbook respectively. Content other than <SCHEME> or <JAVASCRIPT> tags are not allowed.
