Given that 2025-03 release is expected to be followed by the release of Java 24, we ought to address issues that will arise from that. I've recorded my findings here:

Of course this also effects EPP, and anything else in SimRel, including 3rd party libraries, that might be broken when setting the security manager is disabled.
