Walk-Ins at the Main Office

The Career Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Life Center. Walk-in hours are a great chance to get introduced to the Career Center during a 20-minute visit. Looking to have your resume reviewed, suggestions on your cover letter, or general questions about how to get started in your internship or job search? Stop by and see us.

Should you have more extensive questions, feel free to schedule a one-on-one coaching appointment for a more extensive discussion.

Monday – Thursday

2 – 4 p.m.

Walk-Ins at The Commons

The Career Center in Room 217 of The Commons Center offers first- and second-year undeclared students a chance to utilize all the resources of the Career Center without having to leave The Commons. Our goal is to assist you in reflecting on what you know about your interests, skills, and dreams; what you cannot know about the unplanned events and unforeseen conditions of the future; and what you can learn to put yourself in the best position to combat adversity and find personal fulfillment.

We seek to accomplish these goals through individual coaching appointments focused on career exploration, resume/cover letter review, mock interview preparation, job and internship search, as well as through larger programs such as Professional Development Workshops, Networking Events with VU Alumni, Career Fairs, and more.

Wednesday & Thursday: 2 – 5 p.m.

Friday: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
