Client error logs

When users encounter a software error, it is helpful for the software team to view the client error logs to help diagnose the problem. Follow these instructions to save the error logs to a file on your computer.

  1. Open the Biobank client and press the Cancel button at the Biobank Login dialog box.

  2. Select Help -> Export Error Logs from the main menu.

  3. Check both check boxes in the new dialog window and press the OK button.

  4. Enter a file name when you are prompted (make a note of the Folder you select for the file name). The default file name is log_export.zip.

  5. Press the OK button.

This file can now be sent to the software team as an email attachment.
