Wiki ▸ Client CSV Import
The CSV Import capability allows a user to import biosample data into Biobank. This data can come from legacy samples or an automated task such as processing specimens on a TECAN robot. The information to be imported is stored from separate CSV files, where each CSV file contains multiple columns that specify the information to import.
The following types of import are supported:
The maximum number of data rows allowed in each CSV file is 1,000 (does not include the first row which contains the column headers).
The information in the CSV file is verified against the database before any of it is saved to the database. If errors are found the user is informed of the errors. It is up to the user to fix the errors and then make another attempt to import the file.
