With the new agents module comes an opportunity for agent cleanup and improved practices. However, decisions need to be made regarding the best way to use new features. In the meantime, please see this slideshow for information on current practices.
If an organization changes its name make the following updates to the existing agent record:
- Create a new name form with the new name
- Add dates of name use subrecords to both name forms
- Set the new name form to be the display name and (unless the prior name is still the authorized heading according to LCNAF) the authoritative name.
