Description Survey (SSC)

Phase I: Comparison of Electronic and Paper Description to ArchivesSpace [need to integrate accessions listings, but not all files in the SSC-ACC folder were checked as part of work by Scott and Ellice]

1. Open file on S drive
2. Find matching collection on ArchivesSpace
3. Compare notes and inventory to determine if description in electronic file is missing from ArchivesSpace record
4. Then check paper description in reading room and compare with both
5. On spreadsheet, note any description missing from ArchivesSpace and where the description can be found

Phase II: Comparison of Remaining Paper Description to ArchivesSpace

1. Skipping collections checked as part of Phase I, compare paper description in reading room to ArchivesSpace description
2. On spreadsheet, note any description missing from ArchivesSpace and where the description can be found
