Attendees: IB, SJ, SM, VB, IP, MT, AA, AM, MM
Apologies:
New Actions:
- MM Investigate which remote machines can be easily accessed (via SSH) from Jenkins, and add these to automated test suite as a second stage (after local tests have completed).
- MM Check that Jenkins tests are passing on termination branches
- AM Test termination branches on Stampede
- MT Test termination branches on OSG
- IP + VB Test termination branches on Comet & SuperMIC
- AA Test termination branches on Titan
Current Actions:
- MT Open a ticket to investigate SSH/GSISSH authentication default to XSEDE
- IB Work towards including EnTK in development management process.
- MM + AM Bring MM on-board to review the threading/termination changes, in particular to consider what automated tests can be put in place.
Active issues:
0.46:
-
Release date planned for 2017-04-28
-
AM closes up termination work.
- As discussed, we will test on various machines (see actions above). Specifically, attempt running our current experiments using saga-python:devel, radical.utils:feature/managed_process, radical.pilot:feature/split_termination_4
- Automated tests using jenkins to include any 'easy' remote machines. MM will add these ASAP.
Any Other Business:
- SJ reminded that Blue Waters access should be renewed in June (Rutgers bureaucracy notwithstanding)
- SM is expected (90% certain!) to get a fellowship to work on RepEx.
- In March 2018, we will need to reapply to NSF for continuation of the RCT core grant. MT leading the grant writing, opportunity to include improvements/extensions to RCT stack, but we much also demonstrate that RCT is underpinnning innovative science at scale.
